Where can I still rent a movie on Cape Cod? |
The Box Office Cafe was founded on one simple philosophy: create the kind of place where we would want to hang out, and that serves the kind of food we would want to eat. That means, from the moment you walk in the door, you feel like you've found something special you can call your own. It feels familiar in all the right ways, but unique enough to bring out your adventurous, creative side. Which is good, because there is plenty to explore and discover. Start with the menu, which immediately clues you to how geek-crazy we are for all things movies. How are you going to choose what to eat? Do you follow your gut, and go with something tasty; or do you pick your favorite movie and see where that takes you? You could end up with our Beetlejuice pizza--the original blueberry pizza. Blueberries? On pizza? Absolutely; and just wait until you try it! Then discover the rest of the joint. The movie posters and memorabillia on the walls. What movie is playing on the flat screen? Wow, I haven't seen that movie in years. Next thing you know you're talking to the table next to you about your favorite scenes, which always leads to talk of other movies, other actors, other great lines. And then there's the Video Store--the last of a dying breed--and the only functioning video store left on all of Cape Cod. Wander the racks, feeling nostalgic, as you explore thousands of titles; everything from the newest Hollywood blockbuster, to obscure oddities from people you've never heard of. If you've been getting your movies from a robot, or anonymously delivered in the mail, come remind yourself how discovering the movie can be just as satisfying as watching the movie itself. When your food comes, sit back and enjoy. We built it special, just for you, and you'll be able to tell from the first bite to the last just how much care we put into what we do. And when it's all said and done, and you're ready to leave, don't be surprised if you find yourself already planning your next visit. The pizza you're going to try next; the obscure beer with the weird label that's been nagging at you since you sat down but you didn't get around to tasting. We're always excited to meet our next familiar face. Read our review in the Cape Cod Times HERE WE NO LONGER OFFER FREE WI-FI or INTERNET ACCESS.
